Id heard Sunday Riley being bounced around for a long time - with acne prone/breakout skin all my life (Im now 41) Ive spent alot of creams, washes and serums that havent worked. I thought I'd give it a go - what had I got to lose other than my sking throwing another hissy fit. So my first 2/3 weeks were crushing as my skin purged. My life where did they come from and hooooww is there another spot on my face !! Im the other end of 3 weeks and I feel its imlroving and my skin is looking good - its not by any means clear but its better than it was. Its the one thing Ive tried that Ive seen both breakout and clear up within the first few weeks. Ive also has stubborn under skin ones on my jaw line that have now cleared and they have been there for months so its certainly doing something good !!

Sunday Rileys Good Genes is the only glycolic acid product I have used so far that does not irritate my very reactive skin. The serum has a really light texture, absorbs fast into skin and layers well under any moisturiser. As my skin is so sensitive I only use this a few times a week at most but that is enough to get the benefit of smoother, brighter, more refined less congested pores. This also helps reduce fine lines and wrinkles and works great for mature skin too. Just to note if you have an open spot this will sting but helps it heal quicker. The original lactic acid version is still my preference it just suits my skin slightly better. The only difference between the two for me is this glycolic version is a tiny bit more drying but with a good moisturiser on top its not an issue. If you have a very young skin you won't really see much difference using this but if you need something to deal with first signs of ageing, congested pores, uneven texture or deeper lines and wrinkles it works.

Nice glow
Only got a sample of this so not enough for full review. Did give me a nice glow after the two uses I got from it. Everyone raves about it so it must be special, but with its current price point, I’ll stick to the ordinary or other more affordable glycolic products.
