Directions
STEP 1: Apply generously on wet hair. Massage vigorously into your scalp to break down dirt and product build-up. Rinse off thoroughly. Follow with the Curlsmith Essential Moisture Conditioner to hydrate and moisturize.
STEP 2: After washing with the Curlsmith Essential Moisture Cleanser, apply the conditioner generously on wet hair concentrating on the lengths and ends. Coat all strands evenly and gently detangle the hair to get rid of all knots. Let it sit for 1-2 minutes, then rinse.
STEP 3: To refresh your style or re-hydrate between washes, spray onto dry or damp hair and follow with styling products if desired. To use as a leave-in conditioner, apply to damp or wet hair after washing and style as usual.
STEP 4: While your hair is still wet, spray effortless waves throughout the mid lengths and ends of the hair. Work the product through each section using the “raking method” for even distribution. Scrunch the hair upwards to enhance the waves. Finally diffuse or air dry as usual.

Sadly Not Good For Me
I bought the kit with high hopes but sadly this product is not a good match for me. The hair cleanser doesn't leave my hair feeling clean and the products left my hair feeling weighed down. My hair looked ok for the first part of the day but by the end it was flat. Very disappointing and a waste of money for me.

My hair is constantly greasy

I end up using tons of shampoo just to get the grease out of my scalp. I used to wash twice a week but I have to wash at least every other day, if not once a day with this product

Meh at best

The shampoo doesn't lather well and I have to wash my hair 3 or 4 times to really feel like it's clean. Typically 2 washes are all that I need.
Conditioner is the best part of the kit. Doesn't smell the best but that's ok.
I do not like the way my hair feels after using the waves spray or the curl refresher, very sticky and makes my hair look dirty.
I would absolutely return the whole kit if it wasn't past the 30 mark.

Terrible
Following this routine has left my hair sticky and disgusting. It just left a lot of build up that's still there after a clarifying shampoo. My hair was fine before I tried this, thank you.

Unruly hair finally tamed

Enjoying all the products in this Wavy Kit
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s my first time trying Curl Smith and so far I am enjoying the quality of all the items in this kit. My hair is shiny and voluminous with hardly any frizz, no small feat during the humid summer months. I also purchased the Flexi Gel and I’ve been using it to style my hair whereas I use the spray gel in the kit for touch ups on day 3 and 4. For reference I have 2c medium density, medium texture, medium/ high porosity hair. I only wish the shampoo and conditioner in the kit were bigger, I believe they are the travel size.

A great purchase for my mom

She has always struggled with her hair and thought it was just frizzy straight hair, so she would just straighten it. I wanted to try wavy hair products to see if it would help. Amazing products
I love how these products make my curls look extra defined. My curls look more tamed and more bouncy with these products. I'm really in love with the shampoo and the conditioner and will definitely repurchase in bigger size.
