Directions
1. Start applying at the root of the lash on the outside of the eye.
2. Apply the brush to the lash, pushing upwards & outwards at the same time with a zig-zag type of movement.
3. On the inner & bottom lashes, use just the tip of the brush and apply to individual lashes.

A good mascara basic
This mascara looks great and seems to lengthen my lashes. It can be clumpy if applied casually and hurriedly but put on carefully really looks good. It does not smudge and lasts long.

I have been using this mascara for years. It’s one of the best. It goes on extremely smoothly. Given I have long eyelashes it’s absolutely perfect for them. The brush is the most important and YSL with this one is spot on. Thank you for many years of lush lashes.

Not the same as it used to be
I’ve used this product for 20 years. The formula now has changed. It’s clumpy and doesn’t wash off easily (as it did before) the wand becomes full so you can’t even see the brush. Whatever has changed has made a great product into a terrible one. Sadly I will now have to find an alternative make, which is a shame after so many years. It’s not cheap but because it used to be so good it was worth paying the extra for. YSL whatever you have done please revert back to the original formula.
