Product Description

The Ordinary Azelaic Acid Suspension 10% - a multifunctional brightening formula.

Found in grains, Azelaic Acid is produced naturally by yeast that lives on normal skin. It brightens the skin tone while visibly improving the evenness of skin texture and reducing the look of blemishes. It is a multi-functional support ingredient for all skin types and also acts as an effective antioxidant. This formula offers a very high 10% concentration of high-purity Azelaic Acid in a lightweight cream-gel system.

Alcohol-free, oil-free, nut-free, vegan.

Directions

Apply to face AM and/or PM to improve visible brightness and the appearance of skin texture. Avoid contact with eyes and mouth. Use sun protection during the day.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Really helps my acne and has cleared my skin (still get acne but it is not so bad now, i do see an improvement) great product for the price. I have used Paula Choice one but due to how ridiculous the price is for the amount you get, i went to The Ordinary version and it is amazing and I am not looking back. Will be using this from now on!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Never again This is horrible stuff. It’s gritty, thick like a paste and I need to use a lot as it won’t spread. I’ve returned to the more expensive Paula’s Choice azelaic booster which is far superior. I threw half a tube away, it's so horrible.

Can this be used with the niacinamide & zinc?

Asked by: Anonymous
Hi, Thanks for reaching out to us. Yes these products can be used in the same routine. I recommend using The Ordinary Azelaic Acid Suspension 10% in the PM, applied after The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%. I hope this helps! Many thanks, Laura - Beauty Expert

Can this be mixed with a moisturiser or does it have to be used before a moisturiser? Thank you.

Hi, Thanks for reaching out to us. In regards to Azelaic Acid, it should be applied as a layer before applying moisturiser to get the best results. I hope this helps! Thanks, Chloe - Beauty Expert

Can this be used as a moisturizer? Or should it be used alongside my day/night creams?

Asked by: Anonymous
Hi, Thanks for reaching out to us. Going by what the brand advise, I would recommend using this product alongside your AM/PM creams. You need to use this product AFTER any water based products included in your skin regime and BEFORE your moisturiser. You can use it either AM or PM, however I would recommend using it in the evening. You do not need to use it twice a day. Beauty tip - remember to always use a generous SPF to ensure your skin is adequately protected from the suns harmful UVA AND UVB rays. I hope this helps! Thanks, Chloe - Beauty Expert
