Nothing like a fireplace
I’ve had a few of the Maison Margiela candles now and rotate 3 of their perfumes so I know they’re products are a lovely quality and thought it would be worth the risk on a candle. How wrong I was.
It is sickly sweet. I absolutely hate sweet or foody scents for candles or perfumes and this candle smelled like someone had put biscuits into an oven. It’s a really nice quality scent, doesn’t have any of those bitter notes a cheaper candle can have, and the wax itself burns beautifully if you keep it trimmed but if you’re looking for a warm smokey ember smell try elsewhere.
It should be called By The Oven at the Bakery…
Although I hated it I opted to recommend it to people providing they are aware what it really smells like.

Gimme S'more.
Smells like roasting marshmallows! I was surprised by the sweet notes at first, but as the candle burned and the fragrance filled the room it was very warm and soothing, even nostalgic.
