Great cream, just don't rub your eyes!
Have used this formula for awhile. I tend to go between this and the Avocado eye cream.
It has been good, and I have noticed a slight difference in my under eyes (40's dry skin, urgh!)
It does sit on the skin and I have found if I rub my eyes during the day it pills on my skin. So just be careful with this, as it can lead to some awkward conversations!

Bad fishy smell
Use a number of kiehls products on a daily basis and tried this eye cream after getting a sample. Unfortunately after it had been open for a few weeks, it developed a horrible fishy smell in the jar, which remained on skin when applied, had to throw away half used, waste of money

Really irritated my skin
I bought this cream because I am getting older and I thought it would be an upgrade from the avocado eye cream I love. I don't know what is in it, but it really dried out my skin and irritated it, making me look tired and old. Just awful. I really would avoid this product if I were you.

Not for sensitive eyes and contact wearers
I tried Kiehl's products in the past with very good results, so I wanted to give it a go with this one. Unfortunately didn't work at all for me. I am a contact wearer and I have very sensitive eyes. As soon as I started using this product I woke up the next morning with itchiness all around my eyes, also the inside of my eyes was burning, itchy, and visibly red, I had to use eye drops for a while. I stopped using it for a couple of days and I saw immediately the difference, my eyes didn't burn anymore. I used it again after a while and the same thing happened. Very disappointing as this wasn’t a cheap one and I still have more than half a jar left but I can't use it.

Caused swelling and damaged skin around my eyes
I was given a sample of this cream in one of your London branches. I used your avocado face mask and another of your creams. I applied this around the outer edge of my eyes. Later in the afternoon angry red marks appeared exactly where it had been applied. The skin all around my eyes started to swell. Despite taking prescription strength antihistamines, it still took three days for the swelling to completely subside. The skin is still peeling. Having now researched this product online it would appear I am not the only person to have had this reaction. I think you need to find out what ingredient in this cream is causing such extreme reactions. I have never had an adverse reaction to any face cream in 30 years of using them.

Really good eye cream.
Really happy with my new eye-cream. I used a different make for years, then retinol was added which my skin did not like.The good news is I’ve now discovered Kiehl’s which is far superior.

Anti-aging eye cream caused a reaction
I bought this anti aging eye cream to go with the anti aging face cream and I found that it caused a burning stinging reaction despite following the instructions on how to apply both the eye cream and face cream I have had to stop using these products as its too painful.
