The smell
I really wanted to like this. I think my face feels fine enough wearing it, though I have to use a LOT as it doesn't spread well and my more dry areas never seem to get adequately covered. Ultimately, as a moisturizer it's fine, and maybe longer term I'll find it is beneficial, however the smell is so incredibly strong and off putting. Im a 40 year old woman, this smell reminds me of grandmas in 1996. So the smell was what an older generation would choose almost 30 years ago. So how relevant is the scent today? It smells old, old. It's got to go. This smell makes no sense in the year 2024 it's so bad, I could smell my face for the next hour and I just hated it Why does my face smell like a retirement home in the year 1996? Please, for all that is good, because I love Estee Lauder products, get rid of this terrible smell now. You should have done it 20 years ago.

Not worth price
This cream promises to firm and brighten skin. I've been a long time user of Estée Lauder products, but it's my first time trying this daytime face cream. It make my face dry and flaky (once I applied foundation). Absolutely would not recommend. Waste of my money

I bought this as my normal cream was out of stock. It is awful, it flakes away after about 10! Really disappointed, anyone considering this cream you should go to a store and get a free sample. Total waste of money!

Good as a night cream
I got this as part of a gift with purchase. I loved the consistency and light fragrance. My skin looked gorgeous after applying, however no matter whether I put foundation over this (any foundation or even tinted moisturizer) or just sunscreen, it rubs off. That makes it impossible for me to use during the day. However, as a night cream, over any of the EL serums (ANR, P Pro, or P Pro brightening), it works great. My skin looks brighter, and more even. It's pretty pricey but I'd buy this as a night cream next time when there's a percentage of promo or a gift with purchase.
