Directions
Straightening Wet Hair:
-Start with towel-dried hair.
-Select Wet mode.
-Select maximum airflow and high temperature.
-Lock arms.
-Rough dry the roots.
-Once roots are dry, unlock arms and select desired airflow and temperature.
-Dry and straighten hair from root to tip in sections.
-Once your hair is dry, select Cool mode.
-Set your style with cool air for shiny finish.
Straightening Dry Hair:
-Select Dry mode to touch-up or refresh your style.
-Select desired airflow and temperature.
-Boost mode, the highest heat, is available if required.
-Straighten hair from root to tip in sections.
-Once straightened, select Cool mode and set your style with cool air for shiny finish.

I did not realise this was air straightener. I was under the impression i was being sold the straightener only.
Very disappointed. i was sold this after calling about my Dyson Corralle which was showing temperature problems .

Time saving Gamechanger
This was bought about a month ago. I am so impressed with it. My hair is thick and can be unruly. I tried to avoid using a hairdryer if I could as it took so long to dry and then straighten. I cannot overstate how quick the Airstrait is at drying and straightening my hair. I’m not very good at styling my hair generally but this device is sooo easy to use and so versatile and the end results are fantastic. My hair looks as good as when I’ve been to a hairdresser!!! The Airstrait really is worth the investment as far as I’m concerned.

Amazing!

Works great on unruly hair
I bought Dyson Airstrait month ago, and I tried it on medium length hair, then I cut it to neck length so quite short, I tried it on dry and wet with both lengths and it is working great in all situations. I have unruly hair, wavy but not proper nice curls, each wave is living it's own life. I found it works best for me timewise when I let my hair dry a bit (10-15 minutes). It gave my hair volume and made it straight! The result is same either when the hair is wet or dry, it's just faster when it's a little bit dry already. I was never able to blow my hair before to be straight, I had to use hair straightener all my life. My hair is quite dry so I hope using Dyson long-term will not make it drier as they advertise their tools are gentle on hair. This Airstrait seems like a best product for my hair type. The product is intuitive, it has nice design and it fits well into hand and is not heavy. The minus is maybe the size of the product and the plug, but I'm not planning to travel with it so I don't care. For this price I expect the product to last forever.

A must buy!
I bought this a few weeks ago and I couldn't be more pleased. It is easy to use and takes the hard work out of drying and straightening. I have mid-length thick hair it's performance and efficiency meant that the drying time almost halved.
