Worth a try for tricky skin
My hubby had pimples on his temples and enlarged pores on his nose, he uses this once a day and his skin improved very quickly. Hardly ever getting those hard little pimples and the enlarged blocked pores on his nose have gone away now. It's worked for him with his, I'd say, 'normal' skin. My Dad has some skin issues, Rosacea and outbreaks of psoriasis give him numerous breakouts and sore looking boils. Not pleasant for him at all. Combined with dry, flaky patches that sometimes crack. I gave him a tube of charcoal face wash and yesterday he asked me where he could get some more. All the smaller pimples have cleared up or are healing, the larger ones don't look so angry and are on their way to healing. Non look infected anymore (they were quite bad). His overall skin tone has improved so much that I couldn't see any pores where he didn't have pimples. He never would consider spending so much on a face wash but loves how it's helped his skin! He has one small dry patch though which with some moisturiser should be fine. Hope this helps. Definitely worth a try for tricky skin.

Not just for men
My husband and I both use this - I alternate with Liz Earle Hot Cloth Cleanser and find that my skin is greatly improved. My husband was having regular break outs prior to using this product and now his skin is clearer. I can’t see why it would be marketed purely at men though, as it works really well for my (hopefully unmanly) combination skin.

Prefers original face wash better
Partner liked this but finds it dries his skin out if uses more than once a week he prefers the original face wash feels that moisturizers skin more.

Not as expected
I used the anti blemish system which is great , and that encouraged me to try other clinique products. I love charcoal skin care products so thought to give it a go Was expecting deferent result from other brands I was using loreal, which leaves your skin bit dry and you need to use a moisturizer afterwards. Same thing here you still need to use a moisturizer after using this face wash For the high price I was expecting better results. Disappointed with the product all in all
