Why is this make up a totally different shade from the even better clinical ? Even though it's the same shade !! As soon as I put this on my face became sore and itchy , and it's oxidised :( it's a shame because I was really looking forward too this

Great foundation, works so well on combination skin and is buildable if you want more coverage without it getting heavy.

Fab product, shame about the undertone!
I really loved this on my oily skin - it can survive the hottest and sweatiest conditions better than anything else I've ever used (except the excellent but discontinued CliniqueFIT makeup). But I eventually stopped using it because the colour never looked right. I've since learned about undertone and realised I have a neutral undertone and suit makeup designed for neutral or yellow undertone best, despite being fair skinned. I am a 5 in this, which is the right tone but the undertone is far too pink on me and unflattering. What a shame! Would love to see more undertone options.

Beautiful Skin Glow . Looking Flawless !!
I ordered this product for this first time this week as suggested by my dermatologist suggested this makeup for me as I have acne . And the online makeup suggested the most perfect colour for my face it suits me perfectly . I put this on makeup for this first time this morning I feel so happy I bought my face looks flawless and I feel confidence with it .

It definitely works! Colours all wrong...
I went into store to talk to someone about this foundation, i was deciding between this one and the makeup liquid skin care foundation one. The lady told me as I don't get many breakouts this would be best. And it is! I'm so oily.. honestly you could cook chips on my face and foundations usually slip off and crack because of my oil, this doesn't go shiny abs stays put all day! However it does sink into my pores and makes my smile lines more pronounced, it isn't a full coverage at all. Very very light and definitely doesn't cover blemishes at all! The woman told me my shade was alabaster as the linen would have been too yellow as my skin isn't yellow at all, yet it's still way too dark if I try to build it up, very orange, I find this with all Clinique foundations the super balanced abs the beyond perfecting.. thinking about returning as it is just too dark and orange, it's meant to be one of the lightest shades so I don't understand this.. it is very good for oily skin and if you have a darker or more tanned completion you'll probably love it. But for paler people I probably wouldn't recommend. The woman also wouldn't supply me with a sample, if I'd have tried it I probably wouldn't have baught. I've been using Clinique foundations for about 6 years now.. and I'm really upset to have been let down this time. Time to widen the colour whee I think Clinique.

A complete all day makeup
I think of this as a daytime makeup as it offers a light cover. It is useful in that its matt finish means it can be worn without powder. However, a powder dusting gives it a longer lasting finish.

I use L’Oréal Paris infallible 24hr fresh wear (15 porcelain) & have just started using Clinique super city block underneath. Want something longer lasting that doesn’t settle into pores and want to know if this is a good option/which shade would be best?
I would suggest to pop into a Clinique Counter and ask to book for a shade matching trial a make up session, it is free and help to get the best outcome. The shades differ from product to product.
However, due to the Coronavirus Pandemic, you might want to try and connect with Clinique online and request sampling, explaining that you want to try shades to identify which suit you best. Hope that help. Good luck.
