Directions
Exfoliate and moisturise skin before use. Apply gel in circular motions with your hands. Avoid eyebrows and the hair line. Wash hands after applying. Allow to dry for a few minutes before dressing.

Fantastic product
I have do many different brands over the years with varying degrees of success. Bought tjis thinking it would be more like the make up tan which goes on with a colour. It doesnt - it takes 12+ hours to develop BUT it is amazing. It goes on so smoothly and i think the gel allows you to confident you have covered all the bits you want to cover! I usually do 2 coats a day apart and the tan will still look good for a week. I just use bare hands to apply and wash thoroughly once i have finished.

Orange, staining and drying
1. Body - I exfoliated my body as usual and applied overnight.
There are few issues with this product, first of all it is way too dark, some people might like to look orange I don't. As there is no light version there is nothing you can do about it.
Second issue is because it was too dark it stained all the areas with hard skin like elbows, ankle, heals etc. It also made my skin feel super dry after i had a shower.
On top of that after i had a shower I noticed my white robe had orange stains all over it. Then my t-shirt and jeans were also stained. So you cannot wear anything light next day after applying this, not sure if this will stop after the second shower.
2. Face - I used to use the Liquid Bronze which was far more superior product than this.
First of all it is way too dark even for my medium skin. Second of all when I washed my face in the morning it immediately felt tight and dry. Not sure how you are supposed to use this on the face as it is drying the skin. The original Liquid Bronze used to give a very light tan and it was possible to build up the tan if applied for 2 nights in a row it never made my skin feel dry in the morning.
3. And finally the DPD delivery was dreadful this is not the first time Clarins orders have arrived with the box broken and items missing.
Overall this is a terrible product for a very expensive price. Will never buy self tans from Clarins again since the previous and much better version of self tan had been discontinued

The best I’ve used!
I bought this last summer but didn’t use it. Thought I’d start using it now the sun is making an appearance. I have very fair skin that does not naturally tan and burns easily. I’ve tried self tan in the past that just left me with orange knees and not much else! It’s so easy to apply and within a few hours I had a lovely light glow on my legs. I didn’t want it to look to dark so am very pleased, my legs feel moisturised to.

The best fake bake around
I first had a trial sample of this a couple of years ago and thought it was worth the investment of a full tube, so glad I did. Just reordered this years supply as the weather is warming enough to get my very white legs out.
The gel just glides on and a little goes a long way, never gives streaks or goes orange or smells horrid!
But does give an even, natural looking tan to my legs with just one application. Can be built up to a deeper tan, but I find being quite fair I don’t need that. It’s never stained my clothes or bed linen like some others have! Doesn’t rub off but Gently fades over 4/5 days. I’ve only used it on my legs but would feel confident to use it on my face too.

The best self tanning product
I have tried numerous self-tanning products in the market from best brands but this is by far the best one. It takes a while to absorb and develops over night but once you get the technique right-the result is gorgeous natural looking even colour that lasts for a long time. applying before bed will make it look uneven the following morning. Best to apply a long while before bed time and wear loose clothes. No need to use the tanning mit. Easy to apply and does not stain hands (I wash them few times during application), unlike other products in the market. Smells divine and makes skin super soft.
