Directions
Sweep or smudge across eyelid for instant impact, and layer shades and textures to create a range of standout looks. To intensify, dampen brush before picking up shadow. Try combining wet and dry application for added dimension - just allow wet shadow to dry before adding another layer.

Moonstone colour made of scratchy glitter
This wasn't my first BB eyeshadow in the luxe formula but the Moonstone (which I got less than 2 weeks ago from bobbi brown uk) is scratchy glitter. It's pretty but there's nothing velvety about this shadow! It's scratchy when picked up on my finger to put on and even scratchier and irritating on my hooded lids. My eyelids got itchy, painful and red. It's such a shame as I was really looking forward of wearing it but I really can't. I tried twice just to make sure but every time even when swatched I have the same result. Highly disappointing! I'm wondering whether the shadow that BB sent was just a bad batch as I didn't notice it being scratchy when swatching in store. Either way, this is disappointing for a high end formula at this price!

I wore the 'Moonstone' shade of this eye shadow to death all over the Christmas and New Year period (party season) and it was so easy to apply leaving a high impact look. Whether it was worn on its own or on top of another shade it looked really pretty. I was also advised to dampen my eye shadow brush and then apply if I wanted better pigmentation

This is the best eyeshadow I have ever bought, stays put all day and night. And sparkles like a diamond, it's just beautiful. I get so many compliments when I wearing it. I love that you can wear it different ways for different occasions.
